Glasgow rallied to beat Metcalfe County, 6-4, to pick up its first baseball win of the season.
The Scotties trailed 4-2 headed into the top of the fourth inning. Riley Wenskoski reached base on a lead-off error, and moved to second on the same play. After two outs, Josiah Driver drove in Wenskoski with a single.
Then, in the top of the sixth, Glasgow took the lead for good.
Landon Martin was hit by a pitch to lead off the inning, then Huston Haynes drew a walk. Driver followed and reached base on a bunt single to load the bases.
Garrett Shields drove in Martin and Haynes with a single to left field. After an out, Evan Templin drove in Driver with a sacrifice fly to center field.
Driver and Steven Garrett each had a pair of hits to led Glasgow. Shields, Templin, Bam Nolley, and Peyton Lemily each also posted a hit.
Austin Parker opened on the mound, allowed five hits and struck out one. Lemily closed and got the win. He allowed two hits and struck out four.
