The Barren County Trojanettes wrapped their Pigeon Forge trip with a pair of decisive wins.

They opened Saturday with a 19-0 beating of Baldwinsville, New York, and closed it with a 7-3 victory over East Rutherford, North Carolina.

In the early win, Barren scored all 19 runs in only two innings. They posted 11 in the first and eight in the second. The game was called after the top of the third.

Shea Bogue and Adley Cunningham combined in the circle to give up only one hit and only one walk.

Eleven different batters posted hits, led by Norah Shirley with three hits, including a home run, three runs batted in and she scored three runs. Katie Elmore posted two hits and drove in four runs, while Gracie Myatt posted two hits and drove in three runs. Josey Moore and Abby Elmore each also had two hits.

In the second win, Barren iced the game with five runs in the bottom of the sixth. The rally gave the Trojanettes a 7-3 lead.

Barren fell behind 3-1 in the top of the third. A run in the bottom of the inning closed the gap to 3-2 after three.

Neither team threatened to score again until the bottom of the sixth.

Aidala led off with a double. Audrey Jones entered to run for her and scored on a bunt attempt by Bogue. An errant throw allowed Bogue to reach base safely, and she eventually scored on the same error. That gave Barren a 4-3 lead.

After two outs, Lily Elmore drew a walk. She took second on a passed ball during Katie Elmore’s at-bat. Katie Elmore then drove in Lily Elmore with a triple to center field.

Katie Elmore scored on a ball hit by Myatt that was misplayed. Myatt moved to second on the error. Shirley followed and drove in Myatt with a double.

Bogue went the distance in the circle. She allowed eight hits and struck out three.

Shirley led at the plate with two hits, while Katie Elmore and Aidala each had a hit.
