Barren County rallied to beat Grayson County on the road. The Trojans fell behind 3-0 through four innings, before tying the game with three runs in the top of the fifth.
With one out in that inning, Price Thompson reached base with a single. Joey Meyers followed with a single, and Thompson moved to third.
Skylar Potter followed with a double that drove in Thompson, but Meyers was thrown out trying to take third. Jordan Harris followed with a double that drove in Potter. JP Hyde drove in Harris with a double and tied the game at 3-all.
The Trojans took the lead for good in the top of the sixth inning. Sutton Hyde scored the go-ahead run when he took advantage of a passed ball with two outs.
Barren added an insurance run in the top of the seventh.
Sutton Hyde and Potter each had two hits in the game, while Thompson, Meyers, JP Hyde, and Harris each had a hit in the game.
Dylan Poynter, Landon Uhles and JP Hyde combined on the mound to allow nine hits and strike out seven.
