Personnel discussion part of Park City Commission meeting

Park City commissioners will convene for their regular meeting on Monday, May 5 at 6 p.m. inside the city hall conference room at 41 Mammoth Avenue.

They are expected to have the first reading of the proposed 2025–26 city budget and corresponding budget letter. Also under new business is a municipal order, which, if approved, would authorize Mayor Larry Poteet to sign a memorandum of agreement between the City of Park City and the Barren River Area Development District.

A closed session is also scheduled in accordance with KRS 61.810, allowing discussion on personnel matters that may involve appointment, discipline, or dismissal of an individual employee.

The meeting will begin with standard procedures, including roll call, approval of April’s minutes, a financial report, and updates from the mayor and commissioners. Topics to be covered in reports include maintenance, planning and zoning, fire runs, and oversight of the cemetery, and the senior center.

  • Municipal Order No. 5-25 – Granting Mayor Poteet permission to sign the MOA between Park City and BRADD
