The Cave Area Conference Center now has new lights in the parking lot and on the sides of the building.
After discussing potential safety issues, the Cave City Tourist and Convention Commission approved the new lights during its meeting in February.
Commission director Jennifer McNett announced earlier this week during their regular meeting that the lights had been replaced.
“The lighting in the parking lot is now complete and it looks amazing,” McNett said. “The lights are much better in the lot and they’re also on the building.
“It looks really good if you haven’t seen it. It is much safer out there now.”
The project included the installation of 16 exterior wall-mount lights and 21 pole-mount parking lot lights, and was completed by Geralds Electric.
