One person was killed and one was injured after a recent three-vehicle collision in Cave City.

At just after noon on May 23, Kentucky State Police Post 3 received a call regarding an injury collision at the 500 block of Broadway Street, a state police press release stated.

A preliminary investigation by the state police revealed that a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Wesley England, 41, of Hardyville, was stopped at a traffic light at Broadway Street and US 31W. In front of England’s vehicle was a 2007 Chevrolet Impala, operated by Frances Laird, 69, of Cave City, which was also stopped at the traffic light.
