A man was arrested after entering a home on Lexington Drive with a gun.
At 10:43 a.m. Clayton Button, 34, was arrested by Glasgow police at 332 Lexington Drive after he was found “hog tied…in the entry way of the residence” with a revolver and “several rounds of ammunition” on the ground nearby, Button’s uniform citation states.
“Button had gone to the residence where he had a verbal altercation that turned physical with the resident before being assaulted and tied up,” a Glasgow Police Department press release states. “It was determined that Button was a convicted felon.”
Button was bleeding severely from the face and was taken to T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
He was arrested and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. His initial court appearance is today, June 9, at 12:30 p.m., according to the jail website.
Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt said no injuries were reported other than those to Button.
