The Glasgow Independent Schools Board of Education is set to meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the CO2 Boardroom — the old South Green Elementary library — to approve a variety of contracts and agreements in anticipation of the upcoming academic year, conduct a first reading of the 2025-26 policies and procedures and declare band uniforms as surplus.

The contracts/agreement on the agenda that are up for approval include:

  • Approve a contract with TJ Samson for Occupational Therapy services for the 2025/2026 school year for exceptional children needs.
  • Approve Contracting Agreement for Services for Students with Speech/Language Impairments.
  • Approve 2025/2026 Sports Medicine Contract with TJ Samson Community Hospital.
  • Approve Memorandum of Agreement between GIS and Southcentral Kentucky Community College for Dual Credit Courses for 2025-2026 school year.
  • Approve 2025/2026 GRREC Membership intent.
  • Approve Pledge of Collateral Agreement for Public School Funds.

Much like the recent special-called Caverna Independent Schools Board of Education meeting, the five Glasgow board members are set to conduct a first reading on their policies and procedures. Further down on the agenda they are scheduled to approve the 2025-26 procedure changes.

Based on the agenda provided, the board members will also designate 158 jackets, 133 kilts, 60 hats and “various individual pieces” as surplus.
