Crews with the City of Glasgow continue work replacing a portion of sidewalk on East Main Street near Gorin Park between Carnation Drive and May Street.
The project will close this part of Ky. 90 down to one lane during daylight hours with temporary signals set up on each end alternating traffic flow in each direction.
The 275 feet of sidewalk was originally scheduled to be finished this week, but the project has been delayed.
City Administrator April Russell said crews will pour concrete today and should be finished by Tuesday of next week assuming the weather cooperates and after some clean up.
The Glasgow Police Department had previously released information about this project, stating that there will be a temporary traffic signal that will “take traffic down to one lane between Carnation Drive and May Street during daylight hours, rotating between east and west bound.”
Humble and Bowen avenues, and the Gorin Park entrance will be closed to East Main Street.
