A medical marijuana dispensary settled in Glasgow, according to Team Kentucky’s Office of Medical Cannabis.
The dispensary directory, which lists “licensed dispensaries that are in settled locations,” shows that Promo Pulse LLC is utilizing 100 Shane Dr. in Glasgow — which is between Captain D’s and La Nacional — as a medical marijuana dispensary.
Initially 48 dispensary licenses were awarded by the state. The South Central Region, which includes Barren County, had its dispensary license lottery on Nov. 25, 2024.
The company was initially awarded a dispensary license in Warren County, but was approved to move to Barren County on April 24, 2025. It is possible the company could request to move again at a later date. Also, it is possible Promo Pulse may operate in that location under a different name.
Promo Pulse is registered with the Kentucky Secretary of State as a small (0-19 employees) business that was organized on Aug. 8, 2024 with a Louisville location listed as its principal office. The registered agent for the company is Amanda Kilroe, who is listed as the organizer of numerous other small Barren County businesses.
The property is zoned as a highway service business district, according to the zoning map from the Joint City-County Planning Commission, which allows medical cannabis dispensaries.
Barren County voted to allow medical cannabis business operations with its limits on June 27, 2024. The Glasgow Common Council initially tried to prohibit such businesses from operating in the city limits, but the ordinance failed on second reading by a vote of 5-4
There is no word yet on when the dispensary will begin operations.
Promo Pulse joins the one safety compliance facility, Commonwealth Analytics, and the one processor, AJ Alchemy Labs, given licenses in Barren County. The Tier III Cultivator, KSKYAPP, was approved to move to Clark County on Jan. 27.
