A Glasgow man has been arrested after his vehicle hit a woman on Friday, July 11.

Glasgow police located a woman on Cleveland Avenue who told them she had been “struck by a vehicle,” which was operated by 33-year-old Joshua Miller, according to a Glasgow Police Department press release, which also states Miller had been drinking alcohol.

“Officers located Miller and the vehicle that matched the description at a residence on Pocahontas Trail where he was taken into custody without incident,” the press release states. “The female victim was transported by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson [Community] Hospital for minor injuries.”

Miller is charged with leaving the scene of an accident without rendering aid or assistance, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (first offense) and second-degree assault (domestic violence).

His court appearance is set for July 15 at 12:30 p.m.
