A child sexual abuse case is working its way through the federal court system.
Chad Delucenay of Allen County was indicted by a Barren County grand jury in November 2023 on 10 counts of promoting a minor under 16 years old in a sexual performance. Before being arrested by the Kentucky State Police on Nov. 18, 2023, he was arrested in Allen and Todd counties on similar charges, according to a press release at the time.
In March 2025, a grand jury in the Western District of Kentucky indicted Delucenay on two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of distributing child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. The indictment also called for a Samsung Galaxy S22, a Samsung S10 and a SanDisk 32 GB (Micro SD) to be confiscated.
Delucenay pleaded not guilty at his arraignment, according to his court records. Further proceedings are scheduled for Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. before Chief Judge Greg Stivers.
In March, Delucenay was released from custody on a $25,000 unsecured bond with his lawyer arguing, successfully, that “there are conditions that can be placed on [Delucenay], including home incarceration with GPS monitoring…[that can] assure the safety of the community.”
