Roy Spiker had his case forwarded to a Barren County grand jury after his district court appearance on Sept. 4.

The 76-year old was arrested by Cave City police on Aug. 23 when he used a park skid steer to flip several vehicles at Treasure Trove Park in Cave City. Spiker was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center on a $200,000 cash bond. He was released on Aug. 28, according to the jail website.

Attorney Johnny Bell is Spiker’s attorney, according to his court file.

Spiker will not have another court date until a Barren County grand jury makes a decision on whether to indict Spiker.

Also, in his case file, Spiker signed a waiver of extradition that states he “intend[s] to reside in Florida” but will not “contest or resist” a return to Kentucky if he “fails to appear in court as required.”
