Glasgow’s Starbucks will likely open in the first week of November, according to Larry Glass, who worked with the corporation on the building’s construction.
With the exception of the signs, which Glass said should arrive and be erected within the next two weeks, all the external construction is completed.
“Everything except the interior [is done] and Starbucks does that themselves,” Glass said.
The opening date is scheduled to be early November. Hiring is planned to begin on Sept. 22, according to Glass.
“Starbucks corporation moves in Sept. 8,” he said. “It’ll take them 51 days to do what they have to do.”
The stand-alone building is located off N.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard, in the Barren River Plaza, which Glass is the co-owner of. He announced the location in June 2024.
