It’s official: people will be able to get their Chick-fil-A fix in Glasgow before the end of this year.
Local owner of the fast-food franchise Sarah Jane Cobb made the announcement on Sept. 22, saying the opening date will be Thursday, Oct. 2. She also announced that “cows eat free” all day on grand opening day.
“As a gift from Chick-fil-A to our community we are introducing what’s called cows eat free,” Cobb said “That means if you dress up like a cow we’re going to give you a free entree all day on grand opening day.”
Chick-fil-A filed a plat with the Barren County Clerk’s Office on Aug. 14, 2024. The standalone location is on N.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard between Magnolia Drive and the Hillview and Stonehenge apartments. After a zone change, the restaurant had its development plan approved by the Joint City-County Planning Commission during its November 2024 meeting.
“We’re so excited to serve you,” Cobb said.
