Two people have been indicted by a Barren County grand jury on multiple child sexual abuse charges.
Felicia Nichole Pyanowski, 30, and Damon “Erick” Dobbs, 57, have had multiple indictments filed with the county circuit court clerk in both September and May.
Pyanowski was indicted on 12 counts in September, which were:
- First-degree rape, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class A felony.
- Incest, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class A felony.
- First-degree sodomy, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class A felony.
- Incest, continuing course of conduct, victim under 18 years of age, class B felony.
- First-degree sodomy, class B felony.
- First-degree rape, continuing course of conduct, class B felony.
- Promoting a sexual performance by a minor, continuing course of conduct, victim under 16 years of age, class B felony.
- First-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, continuing course of conduct, victim under 16 years of age, class B felony.
- First-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class B felony.
- Promoting a sexual performance by a minor, continuing course of conduct, victim under 16 years of age, class B felony.
- First-degree sexual abuse, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class C felony.
- First-degree sexual abuse, continuing course of conduct, class D felony.
Pyanowski was also indicted separately in this same batch on counts of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor under 16 years old, a class B felony, and first-degree sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old, a class C felony.
Dobbs was indicted on six counts in September:
- First-degree sodomy, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class A felony.
- First-degree attempted rape, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class B felony.
- First-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, continuing course of conduct, victim under 16 years of age, class B felony.
- First-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class B felony.
- First-degree sexual abuse, continuing course of conduct, victim under 12 years of age, class C felony.6
- First-degree sexual abuse, continuing course of conduct, class D felony.
The September indictments were for crimes committed “between Jan. 1, 2022 through April 15, 2025” and involved three different juveniles, according to the indictment.
Both Pyanowski and Dobbs were also indicted by a Barren County grand jury in May 2025 on similar charges. Pyanowski was indicted a two counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor under 12 years old (continuing course of conduct), first-degree rape of a minor under 12 years old (continuing course of conduct), and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor under 16 years old (continuing course of conduct) while Dobbs was indicted on one count of first-degree sexual abuse of a minor under 12 years old (continuing course of conduct) and one count of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor under 16 years old (continuing course of conduct), according to the May indictments.
The May indictments are for crimes “between April 2, 2024 and April 14, 2025” and involve a separate juvenile. The indictment was sealed on May 21, 2025, according to court records, but upon the arrest of Dobbs in Indianapolis was unsealed on May 28. On July 9 deputy sheriffs Alan Shirley and Jessie Brown retrieved Dobbs from the Marion County Jail in Indianapolis “for arraignment and further proceedings,” according to court records.
Both Pyanowski and Dobbs are in the Barren County Detention Center. Pyanowski has her two arraignments and a pretrial conference scheduled for Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. Dobbs has an arraignment and a pretrial conference scheduled for the same date and time.
