Twenty-five Lindsey Wilson University students moved closer to their dreams of becoming nurses during a recent ceremony.
Madilyn Schultz of Glasgow said she was inspired to become a nurse in part by her father, Kenneth, who is also a nurse. She said, “I have just always wanted to be a nurse and take care of people.”
The “Blessing and White Coat Ceremony” signified the 25 students’ formal transition from their preclinical courses into the clinical component of their coursework. The 25 students will graduate in May 2028 with bachelor of science degrees from Lindsey Wilson.
The class includes Schultz, Lauren Barrett of Glasgow, Maude Forrester of Glasgow; and Khloe Hale of Glasgow.
