Elmer Truman Kline 79, died Monday, October 6, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a son of the late Joseph Edward Kline and Hazel Eugenia Vankirk Kline. He was a loving father and “Pap Pap” to his grandchildren. He was an avid University of Kentucky sports fan. He was former employee at Handmacher’s for 22 years and after their closing he worked at Walmart for over 14 years until his illness.
He is survived by a son, David L. Kline (Tina); two daughters, Tena R. Kerr-Lund (Timothy Madden), and Felicia Ann Kline; eight grand children, Anthony Blisard (Denice), Dustin (Samantha) Kline, Leesha Long (Chris), Hazel Weaver (Jay), Charles Seeley, Alex Roberts, Jacob Lund, and Noah Taylor; seven great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters; his brother, Don Kline and sister Hazel Rozena Kline and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Joseph Kline.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00pm Friday, October 10, 2025 at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neal’s Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am on Friday at the funeral home.
