Sasquatch steps into the spotlight at Park City festival

Park City’s Bell’s Tavern Park became an epicenter of the extraordinary as enthusiasts entered into the second annual Bigfoot Festival. With big shoes to fill after last year’s success, planning for the festival began months ago, with organizers confident that the event will continue to grow.

The festival kept an emphasis on its family friendly nature, with the “Kidz Corner” offering games and face painting, as well as free hayrides. Gage Wilson/For Glasgow News 1

Rhonda Felkins and her husband, Michigan natives, travel around the country to festivals. “It started off just as something to do after we retired,” she said. “But we fell in love with the ‘hunt’ for Bigfoot.” The couple traveled to Park City after attending a similar festival held in Stanton, Kentucky this summer.
