A Glasgow woman is dead after her vehicle crashed on Interstate 165 in the early morning hours of Oct. 15.

Kentucky State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at the 13-mile-marker of Interstate 165 at approximately 6 a.m. and a preliminary investigation found that a 35-year-old woman from Glasgow was traveling north on the interstate “when her vehicle left the northbound lanes, entered the median and rolled over,” eventually coming to rest in the southbound lane of I-165, a state police press release stated.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County Coroner’s Office.

This investigation is ongoing and is being led by Trooper Brett Coomes of the Kentucky State Police.

Interstate 165 is on the far side of Bowling Green and offshoots from Interstate 65 where it continues north to Owensboro. It is also called the William H. Natcher Parkway.

State police released the name of the woman, but Glasgow News 1 is currently withholding that information at the request of the family.
