The Glasgow Independent Schools Board of Education will have its regular monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, in the Highland Elementary School library.
Board members are scheduled to discuss and possibly approve the purchase of one bus, create the position of a district custodian/full time substitute and accept a $5,000 Rising Sun Grant, according to the agenda.
A Highland Elementary employee will also be honored with this month’s Inspiring Greatness award.

At last month’s meeting, the school board approved the purchase of a new scissor lift and the 2025-26 working budget.
