The Glasgow Police Department is reminding trick-or-treaters and parents to check the candy they’ve received.

This candy alert came after Glasgow police got a report of candy tampering. Glasgow Police Department Public Information Officer Terry Flatt attached two photos to the candy alert that appeared to show a needle stuck inside a candy bar.

“The photo came from within our community and the candy appeared to have been tampered with,” a Glasgow police press release stated. “[We] wanted to make the community aware.”
