Over $30,000 was raised during the 13th annual Children’s Day Celebration last night at the Plaza Theatre, according to Randy Burns, executive director of the T.J. Community Mission Foundation, who emceed the evening with Helena Chase Birdwell. Proceeds from the event will benefit local schools’ family resource and youth service centers.
