A Glasgow man has been arrested after hitting and injuring a pedestrian on S.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard.
Yahir Panzo, 23, from Glasgow, was arrested by Glasgow police on Nov. 29 on charges of second-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment and operating the vehicle without a license, according to the Barren County Detention Center.
Panzo was driving a 2010 Ford Edge and attempting to make a left turn onto the boulevard when “he struck Johnathan Peden who was walking in the crosswalk across S L Roger Wells Boulevard,” a Glasgow police press release stated. Peden was taken by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital, the release stated.
Officer Patrick Wade investigated the injury collision.
