The order is in memory of Staff Sgt. Benjamin N. Pennington, who died on March 8 from injuries he suffered during an enemy attack on March 1 at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, according to a governor press release. Inurnment of Pennington’s remains at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff is scheduled for Friday in a private ceremony, according to the release.
