Lena Margaret Rush Dickerson, 92, Glasgow
Lena Margaret Rush Dickerson, 92, of Glasgow died Monday, Nov. 7, 2022. A native of Metcalfe County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Kenton Rush and Maymie Brooks Rush. She was a proud and dedicated mother and homemaker and a member of the Bethel Methodist Church.
Survivors include three children, David Allen Dickerson and wife Leighan, Carl Howard Dickerson and wife Margie, and Jill Dickerson Bryant and husband Bob; eight grandchildren, Bradley Dickerson, MacKay Dickerson, Elliott Dickerson, Sara Harlow, Kenton Bryant, Yates Bryant, Conner Bryant, and Tyler Bryant; one brother, Butch Rush; two sisters: Sue Romines and Mary Stephens; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde McCreary “Mack” Dickerson; one grandson Adam Dickerson; three brothers, Charles Rush, Tab Rush and Buddy Rush; and one sister, Patsy Rush.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and continues Thursday morning at the funeral home.

Patricia Ann Flickner, 77, Glasgow
Patricia Ann Flickner, 77, of Glasgow died Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at Glenview Health Care. She was a daughter of the late Broda Flener and Mabel Powell Flener.
She is survived by one son, Willard Flickner; two daughters, Rebecca Brown and Billie Jo Evans; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The family has chosen cremation with a private memorial service. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Daniel T. “Wayne” Kinslow, 85
Daniel T. “Wayne” Kinslow, 85, died Nov. 6, 2022, at his residence, surrounded by family and friends. The Metcalfe County native was born Oct. 12, 1937, to the late Mike and Ruby England Kinslow. He was married to his wife of 53 years, Ruth Jane Kinslow, who survives.
Wayne was a retired truck driver for Dart Container who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. After retirement, he managed Ridgetop Paylake. He was a member of Cave Spring Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory a son, Tommy Kinslow (Edna) of Munfordville; three daughters, Lou Bennett of Cave City, Stacey Bradbury (Tom) of Park City and Melissa Senig (James) of Munfordville; a special friend, Lee Justus; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sue Logsdon (Jerry). He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gayle Lile; two sons-in-law, Mike Lile and Eugene Bennett; three brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, at Patton Funeral Home Cave City Chapel, with burial in Horse Cave Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Charlie Russell Ramey, 75, Glasgow
Charlie Russell Ramey, 75, of Glasgow died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022. A native of Barren County, he was the son of the late Harry and Susie Francis Abner Ramey.
Russell was a retired employee of T.J. Samson Community Hospital and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and recipient of a Purple Heart. He loved to play tennis and billiards and was an avid fan of Glasgow and the University of Kentucky football.
Survivors include one son, David Russell Slayton; one granddaughter, Brianna Leigh Slayton; two great-grandchildren, Omery and Emberleigh; four brothers, Harry T. Ramey, Jay Ramey and Steve Ramey, all of Glasgow, and Joe Ramey of Branson, Mo.; four sisters, Minnie Walker and Betty Janes of Glasgow, Janet Wright of Florida, and Nelda Ramey of Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David Ramey, Bill Ramey and Franklin D. Ramey; and one sister, Glenda Ramey.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
