The Glasgow Police Department welcomed a familiar face back into their ranks this morning as Glasgow Mayor Henry Royse administered the customary swearing in of the new police officer.
Tammy Britt is returning to GPD after previously retiring and working for the Logan County Sheriff Department as a school resource officer.
According to Terry Flatt, public information officer with GPD, Britt will be assigned as the resource officer at the Glasgow Preschool Academy on West Cherry Street.
