The event brought a variety of old vehicles like Chevrolets,Fords and Volkswagen beetles but it also featured imports, motorcycles and restored cars. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.


The event offered people the chance to freely register their cars for a vote that took place at 2 p.m. According to a member of the event, there was seven categories including best GMC, best Ford, etc. and some special categories like Judge-Executive’s pick and Mayor’s pick. Cruise into fall, which was held “rain or shine” on Oct. 14, offered car enthusiasts a chance to view antique cars and socialize with one another. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.


Many people have “put a lot of money” into restoring these old cars and shows like this give them the chance to show the fruits of their labor. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.

Cruise into fall, which was free to the public and offered free door prizes and food, offered car enthusiasts a chance to view antique cars and socialize with one another. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.


Some people decided to add some Halloween spirit into their car displays having skeletons driving the car and, in a few cases, having skulls and skeletons attached on the outside of the cars. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.


At roughly 2 p.m. awards for the top three vote-getters in seven categories were announced along with a Mayor’s choice and a Judge-Executive’s choice award. That was followed by two drawings for prizes. Michael Crimmins/Glasgow News 1.
