Valerie Dianne Atwell, 67, Edmonton
Valerie Dianne Atwell, 67 of Edmonton died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville after an illness. Valerie was born in Hart County on May 15, 1955, to the late Rondle Hatcher and Mary Frances Pedigo Acree of Edmonton, who survives. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Sue Katt; maternal grandparents, Bernice and Dona Hatcher; paternal grandparents, Albert and Bessie Pedigo; stepgrandparents, Frank and Dora Nunn; mother- and father-in-law, Austin and Carolyn Atwell; stepfathers, Calvin Nunn and Jim Acree; brother-in-law, James Atwell; sister-in-law, Joyce Coffey; and three nephews, Mark Atwell, Gregory Roach and Luke Roach.
Valerie was a member of the Servant Valley Baptist Church, retired from SEWS and a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, William Robert Atwell (Bill) of Edmonton, whom she married Dec. 11, 1969; two daughters. Kathy Jo Atwell and Teresa (Mike) Lamb, all of Edmonton; three grandchildren, Justin (Reagan) Moss of Edmonton, Kelly (Steven) Weir of Smiths Grove and Halie Lamb of Edmonton; one great-grandchild, Macy Jo Weir; two sisters, Veronica (Larry) Decker and Charlotte (Scott) Roach; a brother, Randy Steve (Tiny) Hatcher; two stepbrothers, Kerry (Beverly) Nunn and Mark (Debbie) Hurley; a brother-in-law, Bobby (Ann) Atwell of Edmonton; sister-in-law, Jean (David) Sallee of Elizabethtown; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service was Thursday at Servant Valley Baptist Church at Cave City with brothers Russell Hatcher, Dereke Madison and Wayne Toms officiating. Burial was in Hiseville Cemetery. Butler Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.

R. Wayne Hutchinson, 60
R. Wayne Hutchinson died as the result of Parkinson’s disease complications on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was surrounded by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, his sisters and other family members.
Wayne was born June 1, 1962, and was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Ruby Hutchinson, and an older brother, Ronnie Hutchinson.
He was a devoted husband; Debbie was the love of his life. A supportive brother, uncle and friend, he lived to tell people about Jesus. He was a family man who took great care, pride and love in his sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Wayne is survived by his wife Deborah Ann (Strange) Hutchinson: four sisters, Kathy Hutchinson of Flatwoods, Carol (Scott) Smith of Glasgow, Susie (Bill) Osborn of Glasgow and Mary (Greg) Thompson of Finchville; an honorary sister, Angela (Brian) Butler of Smiths Grove; and goddaughter Tanya Perkins of Campbellsville. Wayne had five nieces, 11 nephews and numerous great- and great-great-nieces and -nephews who brought him great joy.
He was a member for 28 years of Glenview Christian Church, where he served as elder, taught Sunday School and was a member of the praise team for many years. He was loved by many and will be missed greatly. We won’t say goodbye; we’ll say see you later.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2022, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

William Franklin “Frankie” Kelleher, 31, Glasgow
William Franklin “Frankie” Kelleher, 31, of Glasgow died Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born Sept. 22, 1991 in Cape Canaveral, Florida, to the late Dennis Charles Kelleher and Patricia Lynn Tucker. Frankie was a self-employed carpenter and was an avid hunter, specifically deer and turkey. He leaves behind two precious daughters, Marley and Madelyn Kelleher, who were his life.
In addition to his daughters, he is survived by two brothers, Anthony “Tony” Kelleher and Chad Lloyd; three sisters, Christine Kelleher Tobin (Jimmy), Dawn Kelleher Schlesier and Alecia Savoie (Michael); mother of his children, Letha Bray; former mother- and father-in-law, Winford and Charlene Poynter; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Roxanne Kelleher, and one brother-in-law, Scott Schlesier.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
