Update per a GPD press release sent by Public Information Officer Terry Flatt at 3:53 p. m.
On 10/26/2023 at approximately 09:24 a.m., the Glasgow Police Department received a call of an injury accident at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and S. L. Rogers Wells Blvd.
During the investigation, officers discovered that a White 1999 GMC Yukon, operated by Mitchell Lyons of Glasgow, had been traveling north bound on S. L. Rogers Wells and at the same time, a Blue 2009 Ford passenger car being operated by Ronnie Hamilton of Glasgow, was traveling west bound on Cleveland Avenue.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection. Both vehicles then proceeded in a northwest direction and struck a 2014 black Cadillac, being driven by Wade Ford of Glasgow, which was stopped in the roadway.
All parties involved were transported to TJ Samson Community Hospital for medical treatment.
The Glasgow Police were assisted on the scene by the Glasgow Fire, Barren Metcalfe EMS, and Barren County Emergency Management personnel.
The collision is currently under investigation by the Glasgow Police Department reconstruction team.

A three vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of S. L. Rogers Wells Boulevard and Old Bowling Green Road resulting in three people getting transported to the T. J. Samson hospital.
The 911 center received the call at roughly 9:29 a.m. and dispatched fire, ambulances and police vehicles to the scene within two minutes, Terry Flatt, public information officer with the Glasgow Police Department, said.
Flatt said the southbound lanes of the boulevard for an “undetermined amount of time,” likely a couple hours. It is advised to take alternate routes during this time.
According to Flatt, the incident is currently under investigation and so did not provide further information.
