Now that there is no longer snow and ice on the roads, Saturday recycling has resumed at the Glasgow Regional Landfill. It is available the first and third Saturday of each month from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
“We take cardboard, plastic, paper, glass bottles, aluminum, and metal cans,” said Scale House Operator Vince Parker.
In addition to accepting drop-offs on the weekend, the landfill also accepts recyclable items Monday through Friday during its regular business hours from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The landfill is at 400 Glen Garry Road.
