Donald Lee Eversole Sr., 90, of Glasgow died Monday, Feb. 5, 2024. Born July 5, 1933, he was a son of the late Arthur Chester Eversole and Lillian Josephine Casner Eversole. He was a retired salesman from Standard Oil Company and Glasgow Building Supply and was a member of Bear Wallow/Cave City Masonic Lodge 231.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen “Kay” Eversole; one daughter, Lisa Mencer (Curt); two sons, Donald Lee Eversole Jr. and Bob Eversole (Sherri); two granddaughters, Katie Eversole Sandlin (Nathan) and Beth Eversole Jessie (Dustin); five great-grandchildren, Ellie Eversole Sandlin, Sawyer Sandlin, Gwen Sandlin, Dunham Jessie and Maylynn Jessie; his Masonic brothers! and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Eversole.
The public is invited to a Masonic service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Wanda “Kaye” Morgan, 73, of Cave City died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, in Glasgow at her daughter’s home. She was born May 8, 1950, in Horse Cave and became a member of Southside Baptist Church in Glasgow. She retired from Walmart after many years. She was a loving wife, mother, memaw, g-maw and sister. She could be found with a crossword puzzle and a Diet Coke in her hand anytime. She enjoyed visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. Her most prized possession was her family and she was extremely proud of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles McCubbin and Mae Morrison; one sister, Sue McCubbin; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and one nephew, Brad McCubbin.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Wayne Morgan; one son, Dennis Dewayne Morgan; one daughter, Susan Humphrey (Billy); two grandsons, Lane Hurt (Kristi) and Nick Humphrey; one granddaughter, Sarah Humphrey; two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Kane; three siblings, Jeanne McCubbin (Vicki Slayton), Dennis McCubbin and Becky McCubbin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at Winn Funeral Home, with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 7 p.m. and 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Norris Wilson
Norris Wayne Wilson of Glasgow died on his 77th birthday, Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at his residence while surrounded by his daughters. A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Henry Davis Wilson and Ruth Dean Wilson.
Norris was a graduate of Hiseville High School, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church. He retired as a pressman from R.R. Donnelley & Sons in Glasgow and was also a farmer. He greatly enjoyed his vocations, especially his farming endeavors, and his traveling experiences.
Norris is survived by three daughters, Dawna Wood (Keith) of Nashville and Lesa Guffey (Ray) and Nena Shomler (David), all of Bowling Green; the mother of his children, Susan Wilson of Bowling Green; six grandchildren, Brittony Rose Todd (Andrew) of Bowling Green, Ben Pinnegar (Kaylee) of Albany, Oregon, Molly Wood of Chicago, Whitney Wood (Brian) of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, and Kincade Shomler and Jake Owen Shomler, both of Bowling Green; one great-grandchild, Nova Pinnegar; two stepdaughters, Angie Rich (Kenny) and Alisa Perkins; three stepgrandchildren, Kodi Crump (Brian), Katelyn Cross (Colton) and Daniel Meredith; four stepgreat-grandchildren, Jackson Kado, Charlie Kado, Scarlett Crump and Camden Cross; one brother, Terry Wilson (Rita) of Glasgow; one sister, Margie Reed (Terry) of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Wilson; two brothers, Preston Wilson and Stanley Wilson; and one sister, Tammie Wilson.
A celebration of Norris’ life is at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation is from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
