Scott Alan McCauley, 57, of Cave City died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2024, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was born in Flint, Michigan, on Dec. 3, 1966, the son of Orville Richard McCauley and Ann Marie Hoium. Scott was a security guard for more than 20 years. He married Crystena Diane Sallee on Feb. 18, 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Diane McCauley of Cave City; his father, Orville Richard McCauley, and wife Loretta of Michigan; his mother, Ann Marie Hoium, and companion Eydie Mae Penn Hoium of Wisconsin; and his goddaughter, Tammy Long Crawford of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Clara Hoium and Orville and Ruth McCauley.
Cremation was chosen, and a memorial service at The Christian Worship Center in Horse Cave is to take place later. Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.

Robert Taylor Tarry, 83, of Glasgow died Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at his residence. He was born July 15, 1940, in Barren County to the late Virgil Tarry and Aline Morgan Tarry. Robert worked in construction most of his life and really enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Decker (Charles) and Tina Tarry Smith (Robert); six grandchildren, Charles Decker (Kaci), Bradley Decker, Dana Kidwell (Dustin), Kevin Smith (Megan), Heather Smith and Holly Smith; 10 great-grandchildren, Emberlynn Smith, Presley Smith, Jace Smith, Grayson Jones, Daylan Jones, Asher Smith, Reed Decker, Annsley Decker, Dallas Kidwell, Kyler Kidwell; one sister, Martha Tarry; two brothers, William Tarry (Joyce) and Virgil Ray Tarry; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Hadie Tarry, Emma Pedigo, Frances Carnahan, Carolyn Lundy, Joe Thomas Tarry and B. Chapman.
Robert’s wishes for cremation were honored. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
