Barry Keith Coffey, 67, Glasgow
Barry Keith Coffey, 67, of Glasgow died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at his residence. He was a son of the late Lorn and Gladys Evelyn Jennings Coffey. He was a member of Coral Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Coffey; two daughters, Kenitha Bush (Jescony) and Ceirra Coffey; one sister, Geraline Anderson (Bob); two brothers, Larry Coffey (Barbara) and Gary Coffey; and three grandchildren, Jazaylee, Jakinlee and Jazeke Bush.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jakobe Bush.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2022, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Smith Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m Monday at the funeral home.
Wanda Lee Cross, 71, Cave City
Wanda Lee Cross, 71, of Cave City died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022. She was born Oct. 24, 1951, in New Castle, Indiana to the late Ira Leslie Winchester and Ines “Love” Anderson Winchester. She was a wonderful caregiver to many and a housekeeper, and she worked at Sorenson for 11 years. Her favorite days where those spent with family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, nanny, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She had the biggest heart and when she loved, she loved with all her heart. To know her was to love her.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Leroy Cross; two daughters, Melissa “Lisa” Williams (Clifton) and Teresa Jennings (Jonathan Childress); nine grandchildren, Whitney Elkins (Eric), Ronnie “Bubba” Cross Jr., Emily Bryant (Kyle), Harley Rust (Zack), Weston Carter (Leah), Hunter Cross, Carson Jennings, Jackson Williams and Braxton Childress; 13 great-grandchildren, Hannah, Aubrey, Hadley and Landon Elkins, Kamdyn, Kabree, Kaselyn and Kyndrix Bryant, Brezlyn Reece, Graycen Rust, and Lettie, Camden and Brayden Carter; seven brothers: Leymon (Bonnie) Winchester, Lonnie (Debbie) Winchester, Ricky (Donna) Winchester, Danny (Kathy) Winchester, William (Tammy) Winchester, Stoney Winchester, Lonus (Donna) Winchester; two sisters, Donna Winchester and Ann Trejo; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving son, Ronnie Lee “Bob” Cross Sr.; her father- and mother-in-law, William “Red” Cross and Elizabeth Louise Cross; maternal grandparents, Claude and Razzie Anderson; paternal grandparents, Ben and Inez Winchester; five brothers: David Winchester, Mikel Winchester, Jessie Winchester, Bennie Winchester and Junior Winchester; and three sisters, Minnnie Sue Smith, Helen Estes and Nina “Sissy” Vibbert.
Funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donald Ray Gilmore, 90, Austin
Donald Ray Gilmore, 90, of Austin died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born June 16, 1932, in Silverwood, Michigan, to the late Elmer Gilmore and Neva Warner Gilmore. Donald retired as a skilled tradesman from General Motors and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his children, Mike Gilmore (Diane) and Kim Gapinski; four grandchildren, Curt Gilmore, Cathy Dillon (David), Laurie Turner (Arron) and David Gapinski II (Karla); six great-grandchildren, Perry Gilmore, Paige Dillon, David Dillon, Kaylee Gapinski, Shaun Gapinski and Sofia Alquicira; and three sisters, Beverly Mallory, Janet Rock, and Lois Beatty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Laura Lorraine Gilmore; one son, Rick Gilmore; one sister, Joy Davis; and one brother, R. J. Gilmore.
The family has chosen cremation.
