2 GPD officers participated in annual memorial service honoring those who died in the line of duty

Recently two Glasgow Police Department Recruit Officers enrolled at the Department of Criminal Justice Training volunteered and were selected to participate in the annual Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation memorial service.

Officers Janes and Vickery had the privilege of joining Gov. Andy Beshear and the Kentucky Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation in honoring peace officers who lost their lives in the line of duty protecting the Commonwealth.

“This was a moving and poignant ceremony that touches us all,” the department wrote on social media.

Recruit Officers Janes and Vickery said it was an honor and a privilege to serve and participate in the memorial.
