GFD responded to 300 Industrial Dr. after receiving a call into the station advising there was a chemical spill in their warehouse.
All GFD units responded along with the HAZ-MAT Trailer.
GFD identified the chemicals and assessed the risk and potential for outside exposure. GFD crews made entry and contained the spill. Emergency Management was on the scene as well and notified tpm group for cleanup. Upon the arrival of tpm group all GFD cleared from the scene except for one Engine Co., that will remain on the scene until cleanup is completed. GFD was assisted by Barren County Emergency Management, Barren Metcalfe EMS, Glasgow Street Department and Glasgow Police Department.
There were no reported injuries.

The Glasgow Fire Department was called to Industrial Drive, which is off West Main Street in Glasgow, to deal with a hazardous spill.
According to Glasgow Fire Chief William Rock the department was called to clean up a formaldehyde and bleach spill next to AgCentral Farmers Cooperative near the intersection of Grandview Avenue and Industrial Drive. The hazardous spill closed a portion of the roadway — beginning at American Avenue and continuing to the intersection of Grandview Avenue.
The roadway is back to being opened.
Rock said he will have a full press release later today.
