Starbucks, which is currently the world’s largest coffee chain and a “multinational chain of coffeehouses and roastery headquartered in Seattle, Washington,” recently announced plans to open a location in Glasgow with the tentative opening date of June 1, 2025.

The new location will be in the Barren River Plaza Shopping Center, which is where Ruler Foods and the T.J. Pavilion are located, according to Larry Glass, who owns the shopping center.

Details on further specifics were not readily available at the time of publication. Glasgow News 1 is attempting to reach out to Glass for an interview, but has not received a response at the time of publication.

A more in-depth article on this topic will appear on Glasgow News 1 at a later date.
