Ritters Mill Road, a road south of Temple Hill, will be closed beginning on July 10 until further notice, according to the Glasgow/Barren County Emergency Management.
According to emergency management the road will be closed to all traffic at the low water ford. The reason for the closure is the low water ford replacement, which was approved by the Barren County Fiscal Court on Nov. 6, 2023 and that was discussed publicly at the Temple Hill Elementary School on April 22.
“We ask that you do not go near the area due to it being an active job site,” emergency management stated on their social media. “Barricades will be in place, do not go past those safety barriers.”
