KSP compete for ‘Best Looking Cruiser’

The Kentucky State Police, as of July 17, is currently running in third place behind Arkansas and Florida in the American Association of State Trooper “Best Looking Cruiser” contest.

On July 15 the AAST took to their social media page to announce the beginning of the 11th annual competition where the top 13 vote-getters are featured in the organization’s 2025 wall calendar with the top recipient being featured on the cover.

KSP’s entry features a 2024 Ford Mustang GT in front of the Secretariat, the ninth winner of the American Triple Crown, statue in Lexington. At the time of publication KSP has 6,369 votes, only 529 behind Arkansas, who is in first with approximately 6,900.

Voting is open until July 29 at noon. People can submit their votes an multiple devices — such as computers, tablets and smartphones — here.

“It’s a very close race,” KSP wrote on their social media. “We are ready to bring home the win, even if it comes down to a photo finish.”
