JD Ewing
JD Ewing, John David, 96, of Glasgow, passed away peacefully at Shanti Niketan Hospice Home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. He was born in Chicago, IL, October 15, 1927, to the late Glenwood Scott Ewing and Mary Ella Petty. After the passing of his mother, he lived with his aunt, Blanche Petty, an elementary school teacher, in Wabash, IN. He graduated from Wabash High School in 1945 then served in the US Army 3 years in post war Austria. He continued to live and travel in Europe until returning to the states to attend Harding College in Arkansas. He had a long career in accounting and travelled much of the world. After retirement, he resided in Houston, TX. He moved to Kentucky 5 years ago to be cared for by family.
He was preceded in death by his 5 brothers: Norval; Howard; Robert; Willard; and Walter Ewing. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews.

Gravesides services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 29, 2024, at Bon Ayr Cemetery under the care of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
