A Glasgow man was arrested after the Glasgow Police Department received a call alleging he was threatening to blow up a house on Sam Terry Avenue.
Luis Carcamo-Pacheco was arrested on charges of “endangering the welfare of a minor.” According to the police citation, a female caller, later identified as Felicia Martinez, stated she had locked herself and her children in a bedroom when Carcamo-Pacheco began “throwing items and wrecking the house” after he threatened to blow up the house.
Upon arrival the police officers restrained Carcamo-Pacheco and placed him inside a patrol car. The officers noticed the smell of gasoline and chemicals and requested the Glasgow Fire Department, which found a bottle of ammonia on the entertainment center.
According to the citation, Martinez told officers Carcamo-Pacheco had mopped the floors with gasoline in an attempt to get rid of scabies.
Both people were taken into custody on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor after a family member had taken temporary custody of the children. Martinez has since been released from the Barren County Detention Center on an unsecured bond of $1,000.
