Myrtie Jewell Shaw, age 79, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away, Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Barren County Healthcare Facility. She was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on September 21, 1945, to the late Terry Humble Scott and the late Cinda Rella Crawford. Myrtie retired from Sumitomo after several years of employment.
She is survived by three daughters, Vicky London (Randell), Kimberly Mosby (Ricky), and Sherri Likens (Scott); one son, Jeffery Scott Chambers (Barbara), one stepson, Steven Shaw, four grandchildren, Tori Thompson (Trevor), Tiffany Moore, Jama Maldonado, and Noah Chambers (Autumn); ten great grandchildren; one sister, Prudie Bishop (Robert); and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifton Chambers; second husband, Johnny Shaw; sister, Thelma Maxey; two brothers, James Terry Scott and Bobby Clark Scott; and one stepson, Jason Thomas Shaw.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, November 1st, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until time for the service at the funeral home.
