After a busy day at the polls, election workers at the Cave Area Conference Center breathed a sigh of relief as they closed the doors and began counting votes. That relief was shared by the candidates running for Cave City City Council, who reached the end of a demanding campaign season. For some incumbents, the election marks another term of leadership, while for newcomers, it’s the start of their political journey.

The newly elected Cave City City Council members and their respective vote counts are as follows:

Ronald Coffey – 392 votes

Denny Doyle – 378 votes

Brandon Wright – 340 votes

Clifton Parsley – 327 votes

Beverly Ford – 319 votes

Eddie Spradlin – 299 votes

The new term will begin in January and runs for two years.
