Nora Brown, age 64, of Scottsville, Kentucky, passed away January 25, 2025, at Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care in Scottsville. She was born March 19, 1960 in Glasgow, Kentucky, to the late Clarence Troy Rupe and the late Donella Mae Tibbs Rupe. Nora spent her life caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Barren County Health and Rehab. Nora was a faithful member of Samson Street Church of God.
Nora is survived by her son, David Rupe (Amanda) of Scottsville; two sisters, Rita Jenkins (Dennis) of Scottsville and Betty Martin (Phillip) of Owensville; two brothers, Arthur Hatfield of Rocky Hill and Troy Lee Rupe of Burgin, Kentucky; granddaughter, Chelsey Johnson (Bradley) of Scottsville; grandson, Jacob Rupe (Emilee) of Scottsville; six great-grandchildren, Brayleigh, Addy, Gracelyn, Haven, Ryker, and Izzy; and two nephews, James Rathmann and Jerry Frances.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Michael Rupe.
The funeral service for Ms. Brown will be 2 p.m., Friday, January 31, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Old Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 31, from 10 a.m. until time for the service at the funeral home.
