Kendrick Clark of Princeton, Kentucky, was arrested by Glasgow Police Department officers after he fled from them Monday afternoon.
Officer Trey Wyatt observed a vehicle that matched the description of one that had been reported stolen, according to a press release from the department. “The vehicle initially stopped on S. L. Rogers Wells Blvd. and sped away as officer Wyatt walked up to the vehicle.”
The white truck then sped down city streets before turning onto Bunche Avenue “and striking a parked vehicle,” the release stated. The truck then drove through the back yard of an apartment complex, returned to Bunche Avenue, then ran off the roadway and struck a duplex.
Clark was arrested and charged with first degree fleeing or evading police, first degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, three counts of first degree criminal mischief, second degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, disregarding a stop sign, failure to wear a seat belt, theft of a vehicle between $10,000 and $1 million, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and operating a vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.
He was also served with two active warrants.

The truck that crashed into an apartment off Bunche Avenue on Monday afternoon was fleeing Glasgow police.
Police officers were on the look out for a stolen vehicle, according to Public Information Officer Maj. Terry Flatt. “It was a police pursuit on a stolen vehicle.”
Flatt said the pursuit lasted about 10 minutes and ended off Bunche Avenue near the dead end when the truck crashed into an apartment complex.
There was someone in the apartment when the truck struck it, but no one was injured, Flatt said. The only person in the vehicle was the driver.
