After dealing with Kentucky’s severe weather over the past weeks, Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 crews are shifting their focus to repairs.
“The harsh weather conditions have created pothole problems all over the District 3 area,” a cabinet press release states. “Because of the time of year and the colder temperatures, crews will make a temporary repair at most pothole locations. Crews will return later in the spring to make a longer-lasting repair.”
Drivers are advised to exercise patience and caution as district crews will be making pothole repairs in the coming days and weeks. The press release also states popup lane closures are possible “at any given time” throughout the ten-county district.
