Despite pitcher Kerigan Hagan striking out nine Lady Briar Jumpers, Glasgow fell short at Somerset, 5-2.
The Lady Scotties took a 2-1 lead in the top of the third. NaTaya Lightfoot hit a one-out single, then moved to third on a single by Jakylie Green. Green stole second before Micah Muhlenkamp drove in Lightfoot on a ground out to first. Green advanced to third on the play, and later scored by stealing home.
Glasgow lost the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Somerset took advantage of several walks to score four runs in the inning.
Lightfoot, Green, Jenna Glass and Shallen Fields each had hits for the Lady Scotties.
In the circle, Hagan struck out nine, and allowed six hits.
