Glasgow was unable to hold off a late rally by Western Hills, and fell, 6-5, in baseball.
The Scotties scored three runs in the first two innings to take a 3-0 lead, then added two more in the top of the fifth to lead 5-0. But the Wolverines started their come back three runs in the bottom of the fifth. They added a run in the sixth and two more in the bottom of the seventh to win the game.
In the fifth, Carter Hodges drew a walk to lead off. Josiah Driver followed with a single, before, with one out, Evan Templin loaded the bases by beating out a throw at first.
Hudson Gumm drove in Hodges, and Driver scored on a throw to second to get Templin out there. That gave Glasgow the 5-0 lead.
At the plate, Hodges, Driver, Templin, Gumm, Steven Garrett, Garett Shields, Bam Nolley and Landon Martin each had a hit in the game.
Peyton Lemily and Shields each saw time on the mound, allowed 13 hits and struck out five.
