Graduation, new position leads Glasgow school board agenda

The Glasgow Independent Schools Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 21, in the Glasgow Middle School library where the five board members and Superintendent Chad Muhlenkamp will discuss a variety of topics.

The date and time of Glasgow High School’s graduation will be discussed at the meeting, according to the agenda, and Muhlenkamp will announce South Green Elementary’s recognition as the 2025 Outstanding Project by Learning By Design.

“Learning By Design is a national magazine that the architects the project for award consideration,” Muhlenkamp wrote. “We were informed that the SGE project was an outstanding project and was put on the cover of the magazine.”

Spring testing dates are on the April 21 agenda. They are also scheduled to discuss the possible creation of a new teacher/counselor position for the Happy Valley Learning Center and Success Academy.
