Beginning May 1, Barren County Middle School and Trojan Academy car riders will notice some changes in their morning and afternoon drop-offs.

Car riders will begin using the newly finished access road, which runs behind the the two schools, according to district communications officer Heather Gardner.

The access road was constructed in an effort to mitigate traffic on Trojan Trail, especially in the mornings and afternoons.

Gardner said there will be people out this morning directing traffic and appreciated parents’ cooperation during the implementation. She added people will be watching traffic and modify the drop-off process as needed.
